Once, there was a man known as the Sun God, Siralos.

很久以前，有一個男人被稱之為太陽之神，Siralos。

Into the lonesome world, he created an unfathomable number of beautiful lights called suns, and admired his creation.

在這個孤寂的世界裡，他創造了許多的美麗的亮光名為太陽，然後為自己的創造物感到自豪。

One day, he was struck with a sudden idea.

一天，他突然想到了一個主意。
He decided he would create servants for himself.
他決定為自己創造使僕。

From his own light, he brought into being an angel of light.

源自他的光，他創造了一個光之天使。
From his own flame, he brought into being a demon of flame.

源自他的火，他創造了一個火之惡魔。

The angel of light’s name was Igls Unth.

光之天使名為Igls Unth。
The demon of flame’s name was Ivlis.

火之惡魔名為Ivlis。
The two were yet so young that they knew nothing of the world.
他們還小，還為未能認識這個世界的所有事物。

Siralos took them all around the world.

Siralos帶著他們走遍了世界。
This world was the Land of Sun.

這個世界名為太陽之地。
Here, the sun was a necessity for all creatures who lived.

在這裡，太陽是所有生物生存的必要條件。

The two of them listened closely to Siralos’s words, and vowed their loyalty to him.

他們倆十分遵從Siralos的話語，並給了自己所有的忠誠予Siralos。

The two of them grew up rapidly in this warm world.

在這個溫暖的世界裡，他們倆急速的成長起來。
These were very happy days for them.

對他們來說，那是十分愉快的日子。
They prayed that such happy days could last for eternity.

他們祈禱著，希望這樣愉快的日子永恆的持續著。

Before long, they gained companions of their own.

但是，他們開始有了自己的意思。
The Land of Sun came to be a very busy place.

太陽之地開始變得十分繁忙。

Now grown, Igls and Ivlis were worried to find that they didn’t quite understand the purpose behind Siralos’s actions.

現在已經成長了的Igls和Ivlis開始為自己並不了解Siralos背後的意圖而擔心。

Ivlis came to harbor doubts about the world Siralos had made, and the things which he was doing.
Ivlis開始隱藏其自己對於Siralos所創造的世界，和他所做的一切的疑慮。

Igls rebuked him for this.

因為這件事，Igls斥責了Ivlis。
Nothing which the great Lord Siralos was doing could be mistaken.

Unable to take it any longer, Ivlis decided to make an inquiry of Siralos.
再也不能忍受了，Ivlis決定自己去詢問Siralos到底是怎麼一回事。

In this world which you created, life cannot survive without the sun.

在你所創造的這個世界裡，生命不能生存，如果太陽消失。
Yet that makes me feel so sorry for them.

這讓我為他們感到抱歉。
Do they have no freedom?

他們擁有自由麽？

再說了這些話之後你會感覺到多後悔呢，Ivlis。
I suppose I shouldn’t have created you after all.

To think that the words he imparted were one and the same with the sun’s radiance.

去想想Siralos所傳授予Ivlis的所有言語和光芒。
Such a cutting and sorrowful thing it turned out to be.

Is it praise, is it adoration that defines righteousness?

那是否讚美，崇拜才能被稱之為正義呢？
Then do those who have been cursed have no such thing as freedom?

那麼那些從誕生開始就不被給予自由的呢？
And then, are we who live in this world the same?

那麼，在這個世界上生活著的我們又是否沒有任何差別的呢？
Ivlis did not know.

He did not know.
